Midvale Municipal Center Ribbon Cutting

Midvale Municipal Center Ribbon Cutting

October 28th was an historic day for the citizens of Midvale as they celebrated the opening of their new Municipal Center. The Center’s completion marked the culmination many years of planning and budgeting.

Finance, Administration, Human Services, Community and Economic Development, Attorneys, and the Justice Court are all located in the new 34,756  S.F. facility.

JRCA Architects was able to develop a design that provided for improved operational efficiencies, citizen access, and work environment, while still responding to the scale and character of Midvale’s historic Main Street.

The Municipal Center has been designed to achieve a LEED Silver designation with the US Green Building Council. Optimized energy efficiency, the use of sustainable building products, reduced water consumption, and a ground source heating and cooling system have been incorporated into the Center’s design.
