JRCA Architect has worked with Midvale City since 1998 creating and updating their facilities Master Plan and with the design of various facilities. In 2012 JRCA Architects was selected to provide the design for Midvale’s new Municipal Center. Services included Programming, Site Selection, and Design.
The new Midvale Municipal Center replaces the 1930’s era former library building and will provide needed upgrades and additional space for City Hall and the Justice Court operations. The facility has been designed to anchor the North end of the Historic Main Street District, and provides a transition between the City’s rich history and new growth to the west. The site has also been developed to create and reinforce a civic campus with the future construction of a new Senior Center.

The Project incorporates many sustainable strategies and has been designed to achieve a LEED Silver rating with the U.S. Green Building Council.
JRCA Architects was awarded by Utah Construction and Design for having the “Most Outstanding Municipal Building” in 2015 for this project.
