Salt Lake City selected JRCA Architects to create the City’s first stand-alone Justice Courts facility. The project includes five courtrooms, secure detainee holding, and an enclosed vehicle sally-port. The building provides facilities for video arraignment, court clerk, traffic violation hearings, jury assembly, sequestering, a law library and judge’s chambers. Upstairs courtrooms take advantage of a skylight daylighting scheme.
