Located in the center of the Salt Lake Valley, the Utah Highway Patrol Section 4, Headquarters, Section 19, Training and supply have operated for years from make shift facilities. JRCA Architects, Inc. was selected to design a facility to better serve the State’s Law Enforcement needs with an added emphasis on community policing.
JRCA conducted programming and design workshops with the Highway Patrol personnel to insure the facility would be an efficient and functional Law Enforcement tool.
The project includes new facilities for Public Services, Officer Training, Holding and Interview Spaces, and Administration for a wide variety of programs. Existing structures on the site were evaluated and determined appropriate for supply and special vehicle storage.
