Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation tasked the JRCA/WTI team with producing the County’s first full blown leisure pool (Located in West Valley City, Utah). The result is a 223,000 gallon pool with over 12,000 square feet of pool surface. The pool design provides a six lane 25 yard lap section, a 26 foot high slide, with expansion capabilities for a second slide, as well as a drop slide. An expansive 195 foot long zero entry edge provide plenty of room for younger play and access to the water play structures and elements and the geysers along the zero edge.
The pool provides a balance between play space for young children and deeper water activities for youth. Full changing facilities as well as shade pavilions and a snack bar. This pool facility was a net revenue generator from opening day.
