Weber Multi-use Youth Center Groundbreaking Ceremony

Weber Multi-use Youth Center Groundbreaking Ceremony

We had the privilege to attend the groundbreaking ceremony yesterday for the Weber Multi-use Youth Center we have designed and for which construction will start shortly.

A wishing well was on display at the ceremony. The wishing well was built by some of the youth in the system at the Millcreek center. They also had several youth write down their ‘wishes’ which were put on coins and distributed to those in attendance to put into the wishing well. What the Division of Juvenile Justice Services does will help these wishes come true and this new center will help them do that.

This has been a fulfilling project to be a part of for so many reasons. We are grateful to help the Division of Juvenile Justice Services fulfill their mission – which they outline as “to be a leader in the field of juvenile justice by changing young lives, supporting families and keeping communities safe”
